More than 150 Chamber members and community leaders attended the information-packed State of the City & County luncheon in 2024 at the Capitol Plaza Hotel. We alternate programs every other year to provide a laser focus on key community issues. In both 2022 and 2024, we held the traditional State of the City & County with remarks by the Mayor and Presiding Commissioner. In 2023, we held the State of the Workforce with panel discussions on childcare and housing. In 2025, we are holding the State of Education with presentations and panel discussions by K-16 education leaders in our region.

This year, a portion of the proceeds from the State of Education luncheon will go toward Partners in Education, a long-standing Chamber program that matches area businesses with local schools and childcare centers.
